Ah, this tasty dish is so much better than what you can create from a .50 pack of spices. Although it costs a little more to make, it’s better because it has fresh ingredients and spices.
Ground Beef
Cayenne Pepper (2 Tbsp or more) – Makes it spicy
Beef Bullion Cube
Chili Powder
Fresh Cut Cilantro
Fresh Chopped White Onion
Minced Garlic
Fresh Green Onion
Cherry Tomatoes (Sliced in Half)
1/2 Water
Brown the Ground Beef. Stir in all the ingredients. Let simmer on low until the water begins to evaporate; add more water if you need to; cook until the onion is soft. Change the amount of Chili Powder and Cayenne Pepper for more/less spice.
Wrap this in a burrito or use it for a delicious taco filling. This is also a start to my preferred enchilada mix. You can even serve it as a morning breakfast with Eggs or as a base for dip. The same ingredients can be mixed with any kind of beef, poultry, or fish for a spicy Mexican flavor.
For a Tortilla Chip Dip:
Use a Food Processor to chop up the cooked mix after it’s cooled
Add Velveeta Cheese or 2 Cups of Shredded Mozzarella or American Cheese
Reheat on the Stove or in a small crock-pot and serve
