I remember making this with my mom as a kid. She’d make icing for homemade donuts, cookies or even cake frosting. Its super easy to make your own for Cinnamon Rolls.
Please try to guestimate the amount of ingredients to find your favorite flavor and thickness; as different types of food need different consistencies; such as icing on a cinnamon roll isn’t the same as a cake, so you’ll need to learn how to adjust accordingly.
White Powdered Sugar
Vanilla Extract (1 Teaspoon)
1 Tblsp Milk (more to increase spreadability)
You can use either a fork or a cake beater to mix the icing, and adjust Milk and Sugar to create white frosting. Add food coloring to the mix to change the color. Some recommend adding a few tablespoons of water.
Refrigerate to harden the frosting or heat to thin the icing.
